Silver and Gold in ATL

After a long two weeks competing in both MLP Atlanta and APP Atlanta, Parris left Georgia with two new pieces of hardware; a Gold medal in Mixed Doubles and a Silver Medal in Women's Doubles.

Kicking off MLP Season 2, Parris and the Atlanta Bouncers made their debut in the team's home city of Atlanta, Georgia. This year's team consists of Parris Todd, Simone Jardim, Pablo Tellez, and Hunter Johnson, with mixed doubles partnerships of Parris/Hunter and Simone/Pablo. Although stop one of MLP Season 2 didn't go the way the Bouncers had hoped, the team is looking forward to coming back bigger and stronger for MLP Dallas in November.

Following MLP, Parris, Simone, and Hunter remained in Atlanta to compete in APP's Atlanta Sunmed Open. Here, Parris and Hunter took home Gold in Mixed Doubles and Parris and Simone took home Silver in Women's Doubles.

Gold in Mixed Doubles came easily for Parris and Hunter, finishing undefeated as a pair on the weekend. The duo dropped only two of the twelve sets played, both to Silver medalists Susannah Barr and Andre Daescu; once in the semi-finals and once in the finals. As for women's doubles, Parris and Simone also had a successful weekend, coming up just shy of a Gold medal. Coming out undefeated in bracket play, Parris and Simone lost a tight match in the finals to Megan Fudge and Susannah Barr, granting them a Silver medal.

After a long two weeks on the road, Parris stated that she is extremely proud of how hard her team fought at MLP and that taking home a Silver and Gold medal at the APP Atlanta Open was extremely special.
