Catching a last minute flight to Brigham City, Utah, Parris competed in the PPA Tournament of Champions alongside Catherine Parenteau.
Competing solely in Women's Doubles, Parris and Catherine went undefeated on the weekend, coming out on top and securing the Gold Medal. The road to Championship Saturday was not an easy one though, with tight matches against Susannah Barr and Vivian Glozman, as well as Jade and Jackie Kawamoto.
Saturday's Gold Medal match against Callie Smith and Allyce Jones was also a fiery fight. Falling just short in the first set, 8-11, Parris and Catherine brought the intensity in the remaining sets, winning 11-5, 11-5, 11-1.
Although this was Parris' only event of the weekend, partner Catherine Parenteau secured the Triple Crown title, winning both Women's Singles and Mixed Doubles with Tyson McGuffin.
Parris, Catherine, Tyson and James Ignatowich, all Selkirk sponsored athletes, made history for Selkirk, bringing home Gold in all 5 events! #TeamSelkirk
